I am Linga John Mwanga but known by my Jewish name, Yochanan. I am a part of the Abuyadaya Jewish community. I am submitting a visual art of my crocheting and beading that I do here in Uganda. I learned this from my grandmother, who is an expert in making them so I adopted some of her skills in making them. I saw it as the only way for us to earn a living and support my education.

I also make challah covers. I hope to share my talents with the Jewish community.
